Inline or button: pick what suits the page

Inline widget

Date, party size and time sit right on your page. Guests pick a time, add their details and confirm without leaving your site. If a booking needs a deposit, a secure payment page opens in a new tab, so they keep their place on yours.

Best for a bookings page or your homepage.

Button widget

A single booking button that opens your branded booking page in a new tab, with your site still open behind it. Choose its wording, such as "Book a table" or "Reserve a table".

Best for a header, footer or anywhere space is tight.

You can use both: a button in your header and an inline widget further down the page.

Every booking lands in your diary

Widget bookings arrive in the same diary as your phone bookings, so your team has one place to look. Every guest gets a profile in your guest CRM, and confirmation emails go out on their own.

Your site, your guests
Guests book with you directly on your own website, not through a marketplace.
Only your websites take bookings
List your domains once, and a copy of your widget on someone else's site can't send bookings into your diary.
Instagram and Google too
Add your booking page link to your Instagram profile and Google Business Profile, so guests can book wherever they find you.

Questions about the booking widget

Will the booking widget work with my website?

If your website lets you add a block of custom HTML, yes. That covers WordPress, Wix, Squarespace (Business plan and above), Shopify, Webflow and hand-coded sites, with step-by-step guides for each in our help centre.

Do I need a developer to add it?

No. You copy one snippet and paste it into your site's custom HTML or embed block. After that, every change is made in Make a Rezzy and shows on your site within seconds.

Do guests leave my website to book?

Not with the inline widget: guests confirm the booking on your page. If a deposit is needed, a secure payment page opens in a new tab. The button widget also opens your booking page in a new tab, with your site still open behind it.

Can the widget match my brand?

Yes. Choose your colours, font, corner style, spacing and wording, or add your own CSS. Pick the System font and the widget uses the font your website already loads. See every setting.

What if I'm on Squarespace's Personal plan?

Squarespace's Code block needs the Business plan or above. On the Personal plan, add a "Book a table" link to your Make a Rezzy booking page instead.

How much does the booking widget cost?

Nothing extra. The widget is included in every Make a Rezzy account, which costs $1.25 per seated cover, capped at $125 a month, with no subscription.

In a 30-minute walkthrough we'll show you how to style a widget to match your site, where to paste it, and what Make a Rezzy would cost based on your typical covers.
